CIWEM’s Specialist Register for PFR Professionals
The specialist register helps demonstrate competence in PFR, it certifies professionals against the industry’s Code of Practice for PFR and requires them to also demonstrate their applied knowledge and experience in end to end PFR delivery.
For the Environment Agency, insurers, local authorities, and those that have been flooded confidence in professionals delivering PFR is essential. CIWEM’s specialist register demonstrates that professionals have completed the appropriate training and been assessed to the appropriate standard by independent assessors to assure their competence to undertake and supervise PFR delivery providing the necessary confidence to those looking for high-quality PFR installations.
The register focuses on PFR surveyors and building contractors/installers, who are assessed through a robust process including successful completion of PFR training, the proof of attaining required competencies and passing a PFR focused Professional Review Interview.
Professionals accepted on to the specialist register will be listed on BeFloodReady and CIWEM’s webpages and be provided with appropriate logos and branding supporting transparency and trust, ensuring that PFR measures are implemented by appropriately qualified individuals.
