CIWEM’s specialist register of certified Property Flood Resilience (PFR) Professionals
The specialist register helps demonstrate competence in PFR, it certifies professionals against theindustry’s Code of Practice for PFR and requires them to also demonstrate their applied knowledge and experience in end to end PFR delivery.
For the Environment Agency, insurers, local authorities, and those that have been flooded confidence in professionals delivering PFR is essential. CIWEM’s specialist register demonstrates that professionals have completed the appropriate training and been assessed to the appropriate standard by independent assessors to assure their competence to undertake and supervise PFR delivery providing the necessary confidence to those looking for high-quality PFR installations.

The Flood Re Academy is a self-paced online course aimed at anyone who needs to understand how the Flood Re Scheme operates as part of their work. The course consists of five specially created modules which are accredited by the Chartered Insurance Insititute (CII) and the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA). Upon successful completion of the Academy, users can log up to one hour of CPD time.
