As Flood Re is a temporary scheme which will transition out of the insurance market in 2039 they are required to review the scheme at lease once every five years.
The review that can be downloaded here reports on its findings to the Secretary of State. As such Flood RE completed a comprehensive review of:
- What has worked and what can be improved
- What has been tested
- What the future looks like
- What changes do Flood Re need to see
The review also proposes changes to the scheme which will help prepare households, insurers the Government and others for the future and when they leave the market in 15 years.
